~Tuesday Aug. 24th:
Book Study
We will be meeting at 6:30 at Dan and Deb Frii's house for a bon fire and study. Bring along a camping chair and something to roast as we cover the next chapter from our book dealing with the subject of marriage. How young is too young? How old is too old, eeeek? How do I know who "the one" is that God would have me marry? What does God think about same sex marriages? Come ready to discuss this subject that is waiting in most of our futures.

~Sunday Sept. 5th:
Book Study
We will be meeting at church at 1:30 and heading to the Harnisch's to cover the next chapter in our book Ethix. This next chapter deals with the issue of war. Is it right to get involved with conflicts around the world? Is it just?
How should a Christian respond if they are put in a position of firing upon and possibly kill an enimey? And what about the video games, are we becoming desensitized to the idea of violence and killing?
We will once again go to the bible and see what God has to say about these matters. How should we as Christians think about war?
If time and weather permits, we may have a chance to take out some of the horses so wear some good shoes and sturdy clothes.
~Saturday Sept 25th:
Go-Karts
We will be meeting at the church at 1:00pm to carpool to Action city in Eau Claire where we will take their go-kart challenge. These will be the outdoor go-karts on the raised oval track with banked curves. The cost is $6.00. As usual we will have a cooler in the trunk for drinks and snacks if you would like to bring along some refreshments. After racing, we may take a stroll downtown or along the historic waterfront. We will return to church around 4:00pm.

~Sunday Sept. 19th:
Book Study
We will be meeting at 1:30 in Wilson Park across from the church to cover the last chapter from our book Ethix dealing with the issue of how to figure out what God's will is for our lives. After spending several chapters applying the bible and God's perspecive to current social issues, the author now turns the mirror onto ourselves and asks the question "Do I really know what God thinks about me, my life and my future?" Come ready to discuss this broad subject in practicle and specific terms.
