"for an elementary 'show-and-tell' this young girl brought
in a puppy for the class to enjoy. The classmates began to wonder about the gender of the puppy, but none of them knew how to ascertain it. The young girl raised her hand,
'I know how we can tell', she explained 'We can vote'. While we may snicker at her childish response, she illustrated the most common view of truth in our culture - majority rules."
Is there such a thing as absolute truth that can stand as
a guide through the ever-changing opinion and
consensus of todays culture?
Finding and living by this truth will be the focus of our
study through the book "Ethix" by Sean McDowell.
